Precise Location

Pingly may request precise location permission to:

• Show nearby players
• Recommend nearby sessions
• Display relevant venues
• Improve local search results

You can disable location permission through your device settings, although this may reduce location-based functionality.

Pingly does not publicly display precise coordinates. Only an approximate area, such as a suburb or general location, is shown to other users.

Messages

Pingly stores messages so users can communicate, and so reports involving harassment, safety or misuse can be investigated.

Public Profile Information

The following may be visible to other Pingly users:

• Skill level
• DUPR rating
• Approximate suburb
• Availability
• Sessions hosted
• Sessions joined where appropriate

Pingly does not display:

• Email address
• Precise location
• Payment details
• Private account information

Analytics

Pingly uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These tools may collect information about:

• Screens viewed
• Features used
• Buttons tapped
• Device type
• Session duration
• Navigation patterns
• Performance issues

This information is used to improve the product.

Payments and Subscriptions

Payments may be processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe where applicable.

Pingly does not store complete payment card details.
